August 26, 2013:  All pollens are low. There may be some isolated areas in the county with higher concentrations of weed pollen that allergic patients may notice. Mold 1416, low.

June 5, 2013: Grass 25, HIGH. The first high grass count of the season. A major increase in grass pollen concentration.  Weed 11, moderate, mostly nettle. Tree, Pine* 5, low.  Mold 1825, low, including Cladosporium.

June 4, 2013:  Grass 2, low.  Weed 4, low. Tree, Pine*, 6, low. Mold 2263, low.

June 3, 2013: Grass 5, moderate. Weed 8, low. Tree, Pine*, 6, low. Mold 28, low.

June 2, 2013:  Grass 11, moderate.  Weed 7, low.  Tree, Pine* low.  Mold 1445, low.

June 1, 2013: Weed 7, low.  Grass 3, low.  Tree, pine* 4, low.  Mold low.

* These pollens are very large and form yellow dust on outdoor surfaces, but are not very allergenic.

May 31, 2013:  Grass 2, low. Weed 4, low. Tree,  pine* 8, low. Mold 1825, low.

May 29, 2013: Pollens continue to be very low. Mold spores 5212, moderate for our area.

May 25, 2013: Grass 1, low. Weed, nettle 6, low. Pine* 35, moderate.  Mold 861, low.

May 24, 2013: Grass 1, low.  Pine 64, moderate.  Weed, nettle 2, low. Mold 1007, low.

May 22, 2013: Grass not detected. Tree - Pine* 7, low.  Mold 5022, low by NAB standards but relatively moderate for our area.

May 20, 2013:   Grass 1, low.  We anticipate increasing counts over the next week or two. Pine* 40, moderate. Weed, nettle 2, low.  Mold 1110, low.  

May 18, 2013:  Grass 1, low. Pine* 48, moderate. Mold 5548, relative to our area, moderate. This is the highest mold count of the year.

May 16, 2013:  Grass 4, low.  Pine 23, moderate.  Weed, nettle 2, low.  Mold low.

May 14, 2013: Grass 2, low.  Tree pollen is high for pine which is a heavy, large , non -allergenic pollen. Outdoor allergy symptoms now are probably due to localized areas in the county with higher grass pollen concentrations. Anticipate more widespread higher grass pollen counts in the next few weeks.

May 11, 2013: Grass and tree pollens are low. Grass 1,  Hemlock* 3, Pine* 9, Maple 2, Willow 1, Birch 1, Cedar 1, Walnut< 1,  Weed-Nettle <1. Mold 1285 low, but increased.

May 9, 2013: Pollen and mold spores are low. Grass 2. Weed- Nettle <1. There may be areas with high pine and fir pollen that are heavy and form the yellow dust on outdoor surfaces. They may cause some irritation but are not considered important in allergic reactions. Also, around areas with tall grass, pollens may be moderate to high.

May 8, 2013: Pollen and mold counts are low.  Grass 2, Birch 5, Cedar/Juniper 3, Hemlock*4, Pine* 3, Maple 1, Willow <1, Weed - Nettle 1. Mold 788.

May 7, 2013: All pollen counts are still low, including trees; birch 8, Cedar, Hemlock, Maple, Willow, Alder, Chestnut; Grass, Weed. There may be areas in the county with moderate grass pollen concentrations.


* These pollens are very large and form yellow dusts on outdoor surfaces. They are not considered allergenic as are the other pollens detected including alder, birch, maple etc.

April 30, 2013: All mold and pollen counts are low, including grass pollen, the first of the year detected. We expect low to moderate grass pollen counts over the next few weeks before warmer weather supports growth and formation of the buds at the top of the grass blades, from which the pollens are released.

April 16 2013:Birch 53, moderate. Other pollens low: Maple 1, Willow 1, Alder 1, Cedar 4, Larch 4, Hemlock 2.  (Pollens from Larch, Hemlock, and pine trees are very large and form the yellow dust on outdoor surfaces. Due to their size, they do not cause allergy symptoms like alder, birch and other tree pollens) Mold low.

April 15, 2013: All are low; Birch 10. Cottonwood <1. Mold 715.

April 14, 2013:All are low: Birc h 14, Cedar 5, Alder 2, Maple<1, Oak<1, Hemlock <1, Larch <1. Mold 629.

April 12, 2013; Birch 139, high. Maple 58, moderate. Hemlock 7, low. Mold 380, low. Tree pollens will generally be low - moderate with recent rains and colder weather.
